Rural Agency for Community Development and Assistance (RACIDA) has once again been nominated for the 2025 NGOs Awards under the Best in Agriculture NGO category. This recognition marks the second consecutive year that RACIDA has earned this prestigious honor, following its victory in the same category in 2024.

The nomination underscores RACIDA’s ongoing efforts to transform lives through climate-smart agriculture, livestock resilience, and sustainable livelihoods across the Horn of Africa. Through its programs, RACIDA has worked tirelessly to empower smallholder farmers, pastoralists, and vulnerable households to adapt to the effects of climate change, strengthen food systems, and improve community well-being in arid and semi-arid regions.

Our continued recognition in the NGOs Awards reflects the dedication of our teams, partners, and communities who work together to build a more food-secure and climate-resilient region,” said Mohamoud Duale, Executive Director RACIDA.

This nomination motivates us to keep innovating and supporting sustainable development at the grassroots level.” He added.

The NGOs Awards celebrate excellence and innovation among non-profit organizations driving positive change across Africa. RACIDA’s nomination once again reinforces its position as a lead in the agricultural transformation and a champion for resilient, self-reliant communities.
